Matcha Cucumber Tonic

As the weather is getting warmer - what better way to cool down and get some clean energy than with this recipe? Made with fresh mint, refreshing cucumber and subtly sweet tonic water and of course, Ceremonial Grade Matcha from Uji, Japan!

 

Matcha Cucumber Tonic Toronto

Prep time: 5-10 mins
Servings: 2

Ingredients:

- 1 ½ cups chilled tonic water
- 1 tsp Genuine Tea Matcha
- 2 oz hot water (75°C)
- 8 cucumber slices
- 2 mint sprigs
- 2 lime wedges
- 1 cup of ice

Preparation:

  1. Muddle lime wedges, half of the cucumber slices and 1 mint sprig in glass of choice
  2. Add ice and tonic water
  3. Whisk Matcha with 2 oz hot water in separate bowl then pour into glass and stir
  4. Garnish with the remaining cucumber slices and mint
  5. Enjoy!
