Hoji-what? Hoji-cha! Matcha's lesser known rebel brother - available in teahouses across Japan - has finally made its way to North America! A delicious, stone-milled roasted green tea. Most Hojicha and Hojicha powders are made from lower grade Bancha tea - ours is made from a roasted spring harvest Sencha. The roasting process imparts a beautiful nuttiness much like a lightly roasted coffee with zero bitterness.
