Refund and Shipping Policy

Refund Policy: Before we get into our refund policy, we'd just like to explain that Genuine Tea is a small family-run business. Our team consists of four people and a baby. We don't have the same economies of scale or resources that many multi-national corporations have. That said, we have lots of love! If you are not 100% satisfied with your experience, please let us know and we'll do everything we can to make you 100% satisfied. We can and are willing to either resend your shipment if it is damaged OR issue you a refund. 

Shipping Policy: At Genuine Tea, we fulfill orders every business day. That's right, Monday to Friday! We do not fulfill orders on the weekend because we have a family who we love to spend time with. Typically orders arrive in 1-2 business days in Toronto and up to 7 business days across Canada. However, one important consideration is that we are a tea company. We are not a logistics company. We rely on partners like Canada Post, Canpar, Purolator and UPS to take care of the logistics. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our logistics partners may become very busy and shipping can take longer than usual. While this is can be frustrating for our customers and ourselves, the best course of action is to check the tracking number and reach out to the logistics company directly. If the logistics company isn't able to provide insight with regards to the status of a shipment then we will resend your shipment. Following this, we typically open an investigation with the logistics company and try to recoup any losses incurred.
