Shade-grown under bamboo and stone-milled in small batches, each harvest is selected for balance, clarity, and umami. Our direct relationship allows for consistent matcha supply.

What's the minimum order quantity?

There's no minimum order! We believe in letting you order what you need, when you need it.

How quickly do orders ship?

All in-stock items leave our Toronto warehouse within one business day.

Standard ground reaches most Canada & US locations in 5-7 business days.

Toronto and GTA area cafes can receive packages in 1-2 business days, with priority shipping available. You can also pick up from our Scarborough HQ.

Rush shipping available for urgent needs.

What are the payment terms?

We accept all major credit cards, e-transfers, and offer NET 30 terms for established accounts. Volume discounts start at 5kg orders.

Are Genuine Tea’s compostable tea bags certified biodegradable?


Yes. Our plant-based pyramid sachets are made from non-GMO PLA and carry DIN EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 certifications, which means they break down in under 90 days in commercial compost—no micro-plastics, ever.

Do you Offer Free Shipping?


Yes. Free shipping on orders $250 CAD or more anywhere in Canada & the US. Sub-threshold orders have a $15 flat rate.

Can I request free tea samples before placing a bulk tea order?


Absolutely. Fill out the Wholesale Account form and tick “Send Samples.” We’ll ship a curated tasting kit—loose-leaf, compostable pyramid tea bags, microground latte powders, and a couple of Sparkling Iced Tea Cans—on the house.

Can I buy Genuine Tea wholesale outside Canada?


We currently ship wholesale orders to the UK, EU, and Asia-Pacific via DHL Express. Duties and VAT are calculated at checkout so there are no surprise fees on delivery.

USA orders are shipped through Canada Post– free shipping over $250 or a flat $15 rate.

Are all Genuine Tea products organic and ethically sourced?



Over 80 % of our catalogue—loose-leaf, matcha, microground powders, and RTD cans—is certified organic. Every origin is farm-direct, with transparent pricing and traceable lot numbers.
