Formosa means "beautiful island" and this is an example of a beautiful Taiwanese dark Oolong. This tea has been oxidized to around 85% and boasts beautiful honeyed notes of grass and peaches. Slightly malty, this tea has no astringency, this oolong is a fine example of what truly differentiates Taiwanese oolongs from Chinese oolongs.
